Loyal, carefree, passionate.
How did you get into modelling?
I won a competition with a professional agency when I was 15 and it all went from there. I used to be a straight size model but I’ve always had a bum and then I went into curve.
Do you feel confident as a curve model?
As my weight has fluctuated I would say it’s been harder at times. But you know, I’m a woman, sometimes I’m bigger, sometimes I’m smaller – I’m confident at every shape. Life’s too short to worry about a few pounds. I’ve been labelled all my life, but the industry is definitely changing. More brands want to show that diverse group of friends, you have a girl who is taller, smaller, bigger, thinner. We all have a friendship group like that, I know I do and I love them all. So why can’t this be reflected in campaigns and show them love too?
Who inspires you?
I love Monica Bellucci and Adriana Limaall - all those big 90s models. When I see a strong and powerful woman, it definitely motivates me.
What’s important to you?
My family and my health.
What’s your star sign?
I’m a true Cancer! I’m really sensitive, intuitive and I love meeting new people. I’m also romantic and I live life to the fullest. You never know what might happen tomorrow so you have to live in the moment.
Who was the last person you called?
I talk to my grandparents and my mummy every day, I’m a real mummy’s girl. I feel most confident when I speak to my Mum. She’s the person I always turn to if I need a pick-me-up.
Describe your style…
I love jeans, sweaters and trainers. I’m not a heels girl. I’m happiest when I’m on the beach with tanned skin and natural hair. I feel more confident going out with no makeup and trainers that I do when I’ve spent hours getting ready.
What’s on your playlist?
Anything from Pavarotti to Rihanna and Beyoncé.
